Today, I'm struggling to find a topic to blog about that won't keep me up tonight. I mean, if I sit here and hash out why my job appears to be in jeopardy (albeit after next semester) through no fault of my own, that would keep us all up tonight. No one needs that. Why borrow trouble?
I definitely think on the career decision making path there was a time I zigged when I should have zagged. And this is where we find ourselves, ladies and gentlemen.
So, for the five.
1) I'm thankful for random Scentsy orders from bloggers I'd lost connection with when my favorites folder didn't properly join me in MacLand eons ago. (Hi, S.B!!)
2) I'm thankful for my daughter's sense of humor and sense of fairness. They are so smart. They are emotionally sound and mature. I am sorry for the hard lessons they are learning, but thankful they will do so now, with my love and support, rather than as adults. Much less disillusioning.
3) I am thankful that M2's reading skills are steadily improving and that she likes to cuddle up and read sometimes. She's doing so much better and I'm proud of her for continuing to work on it. I so want her to realize how fun reading can be.
4) Allow me to say that I am truly grateful that God in His divine providence allowed someone to discover coffee and share it with the world. Truly my drug of choice, coffee does a body good.
and 5) I am thankful my gallbladder is gone. Living without pain is a gift that I very much appreciate.
