As she won't allow citizens of the country other than those in California to send her an e-mail, I will have to spend my hard earned money to send her a letter.
Fine.
Until then, when her underlings are trolling the internet for articles, postings and such related to her highness, she can have a little foretaste of the letter I plan to send.
Why do I think Babs is an ass?
I'm sure there are other exhibits, but this is the only one you really need:
Aside from the guffawing one may do over the absolutely idiotic classification of becoming and being a Senator "hard work" (maybe in the olden days, but I'll be damned if I've seen a Senator doing anything even close to 'working' for a very long time), is anyone else struck by the absolute ridiculousness of this exchange?
She is from a state with HUGE military bases and yet fails to recognize this Brigadier General is paying her the utmost respect by calling her ma'am. I wonder, if a foreign head of state were to address her as ma'am rather than Senator if she would show such ignorance and disdain by treating the dignitary like a four-year-old.
Doubtful.
For other takes, check out B5 who was also nice enough to include Babs' address in case you'd like to send her a note too:
Ma'am (Barbara Boxer)
112 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510

Ugh! Just. Wow.

I try to ignore that woman as much as possible. She's an ass, plain and simple. I am so embarrassed (again) to have her as my senator. One more reason that taxpayers are fleeing California... and we will someday as well.
I emailed her, I don't expect, or want a response. ugh.

I'm glad you sent her an e-mail! I plan to pen something this coming week. Not that she will read it, or care. However, I'm doing it anyway b/c it's not the point. I also should figure out how to contact the object of her wrath and tell him he's a gentleman. She is such a bag.

Yes, I posted about this too on Friday. I did not have to foresight to put her address on the post so you Go Girl. Thank you I will be more than happy to shoot off a snail mail to the little @#$%*%# dumba@@.
Sorry I am now under control again.

Here is the response that I received... I'm sure the only reason their conversation was civil, was because General Walsh is a gentleman.
Dear Mrs. (me):
Thank you for contacting me regarding the recent Senate hearing with Brigadier General Michael Walsh. I appreciate hearing from you on this matter.
Shortly after the hearing, I called General Walsh, and we had a friendly and productive conversation. We expressed our respect for one another and our determination to work together to protect our nation and communities from natural disasters.
Thank you again for writing to me. Please feel free to contact me in the future about this or any other issue of concern to you.
Barbara Boxer
United States Senator

Well, la-dee-dah, huh? How lovely that she called him. He is a gentleman & has probably dealt with uppity people in his lifetime. I would have liked to have seen him go all New Jersey Housewives on her & flipped a table or something.
