I cannot believe May is over already. I also can't believe that for two months straight, I have posted a daily blog entry. That's kind of amazing to me.
Overall, the weekend in Utah was terrific. It took me a bit to get into some kind of groove and even once I did, there wee a couple hiccups. It happens. I will say this: I need to live near mountains. I could sit and stare at mountains for hours. The weather in Utah was great. Our event was fantastic. Lots of attendees, lots of positive feedback, and an opportunity to be together again.
I'm hopeful my friend, AWTM, is home in Nebraska by now. She had an interesting go 'round with United Airlines both in Utah and then again in Chicago. I hated leaving her in the Windy City, but my flight home didn't allow me much time to hang with her. I had not eaten since breakfast and I was starving. She gave me a couple Twizzlers and that carried me home! The lack of snacks on airplanes is shameful. It didn't deter the guy I had to sit beside traveling from Chicago. He made his own snacks from when he could find in his nose. Yes, I was reading my book, but DUDE!!!! EW!!!!
If you have not picked up a copy of Mark Levin's Liberty and Tyranny, you should. I purchased it awhile ago, but had not had the chance to make it past page 6. I'm now nearly finished with it and it is an amazing book. Plus, I'm sure as I look through all the citations in the footnotes that I could make a recommended reading list from the materials he has cited.
The girls had a good weekend while I was traveling. Phyllo made a return appearance and enjoyed a meal provided by M1 and M2. That's two visits this month.
The Geek Squad called to tell me my computer is ready for pick-up! Yea!
