You'll love this.
The soldiers were supposed to report to the armory this weekend at a particular time (close to a child's bedtime). Their formation was to be followed by a class.
Today, we found out the soldiers will be required to report to the armory a full three hours and fifteen minutes earlier (closer to dinnertime) because the Colonel and the Chaplain have to be in attendance at the class and the original time was "a little late" for them.
Really? Why? Because they have families they want to spend time with? Imagine.
So, once this earlier version of the class is done, these guys just sit around until the middle of the night when they truly leave the state. Idiotic. But, that is pretty much par for the course for our state, unfortunately.
