M2 continues down what I hope to be a path to normal eating!
Yesterday, she ate ham and the bun it came on (not the cheese) and...are you ready for this?
The child ate not one, but two pieces of raw broccoli at school. When asked what it tasted like, she said, "Good, but not really...kind of like trees."
Yup. That's broccoli alright.
She followed that up by wolfing down two onion rings at a restaurant last night prior to her cheese pizza and CELERY arriving at the table. Yup. She skipped the fries and asked for celery. Unfortunately, she didn't eat much of it because it was stalks of the dark green, bitter celery rather than the hearts she's used to eating. But, what a big step we're taking around this place!
On the agenda this week?
Oil change for my car
Studying for the Model Professional Responsibility Exam (which I take on the 10th)
Finishing up my bar application
Organizing materials for fall classes--oh, yeah, we're hitting the ground running this time.
