The month is at an end and so is Hubs' summer training. Thank goodness. I was nearing the end of my rope in many respects! The girls and I are glad to have Daddy back home.
Annie was glad to see Daddy too. Not sure if it will have a positive impact on her health, but I'm hoping. I've already made arrangements to take her to the vet sometime in the coming week to check her weight in advance of our July 9th follow-up. I can't wait until the 9th to know if we're making progress or not. All this unknown makes ME nervous and that can't be good for her as I'm sure she feels the vibes from the humans around her.
We spent the better part of the day so far at the home of one of my graduate school girlfriends. She has two sons and her youngest was celebrating his first birthday. She had a wonderful party for him and M2 had a great time. My friend always plans a nice party for both the adults and the children. I enjoy going, but I'm always reminded how ridiculous it is that she lives not even 20 minutes from my home and we see each other for her kids' birthdays. Her parents, who are from Singapore, were in attendance so I feel like I could find 20 minutes to make the commute more than twice a year, don't you?
I need to begin studying for my exam. I'm not motivated or worked up regarding this exam AT ALL. That needs to change in advance of the planned exam date of July 5th because I would like to get a decent grade, even if it is only 2 credit hours.
Well, it's a beautiful, sunny day and laundry awaits...fun, right?
