I thought having Spring Break this week would mean a Blog-O-Rama on my part. I didn't have to wait until my lunch hour or after work to blog, I thought, but I forgot that for today, at least, I'd be at M2's beck and call. Boy, she can be demanding!!! My living room looks like the toy chest vomited several times and my kitchen needs some real attention too. It's naptime so I thought it safe to at least point you in the direction of some interesting reading.
If you haven't been suring the blogosphere this weekend, you may have missed the following warning issued to we Americans by Al Qaeda. I guess they missed my previous post? Reactions abound in cyberspace. Subsunk posted at B5, Michelle Malkin has coverage, and I'll continue to post updates when/if they become available.
Remember all the press generated when SHE claimed she was headed to Germany to hold a vigil in an attempt to convince the military hospital in Germany not to support those wounded coming from Iraq and Afghanistan? Then, SHE backed off that stance and even said she wouldn't be present at the original spot planned for a resurrecting of the Witch in the Crawford Ditch extravaganza. Now comes word that SHE cancelled her trip abroad claiming injuries she sustained in that publicity shot masquerading as a trespassing arrest at the US Mission to the UN. Mudville Gazette has a lovely post complete with photos from the support rally held in Germany to combat the moonbats, minus their Mother Superior, near Landstuhl and Ramstein. Thank goodness for good people overseas including several Soldiers' Angels members. It warmed my heart to see the photos and I know it will you too.
It's been a bit, but Some Soldiers' Mom is back with an update post you won't want to miss. For some reason, Blogger hasn't let me post my comment yet, but until then, I'm praying for SSM's mother-in-law as well as for Noah and his unit that things are done right by them and they receive the pomp and circumstance reserved for the heroes they are.
Visited this blog over the weekend and even though I know I've visited before, I really gave it a once over Saturday night. Do not MISS American Citizen Soldier and especially his videos. Very, very cool and professional. Just scroll down look for the "Give War a Chance" photo on the right-hand side of your screen. The videos had both Hubs and I fighting for space in front of my notebook computer's screen. This while the unrated version of the Dukes of Hazzard was playing on our television screen ( you can see why I had better things to do, but Hubs?? ) so you KNOW these videos are worth watching!
My dishwasher needs loading yet again so I'd better do that before Miss M2 decides she's ready for Round 2...give me strength!!
