A Rally for Abdul Rahman

Abdul Rahman, the Afghan whose admitted conversion to Christianity will likely cost him his life, has found a network of friends in the blogosphere.  Michelle Malkin has been covering the story extensively and reports today that a rally will be held for Mr. Rahman outside the Afghan Embassy in Washington, DC this Friday.  There are action items at Freedom Zone plus more information on this continuing confinement of a Christian.

If you are in the DC-area, I would encourage you to show your support outside the Afghan Embassy this Friday.

If you aren't in the DC-area, why not e-mail your pastor or your prayer chain or any of a number of your freedom loving friends who might hold a special thought for Mr. Rahman this Friday.  Whether you light candles, say prayers, or even meditate about matters of importance, I encourage you to make a special point to do so this Friday.

I do not condone namecalling most of the time.  However, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the extreme Islamic fervor that has enveloped Mr. Rahman and their desire to "cut him into little pieces" flies in the face of THEIR claim that he is insane.  The captors claim Mr. Rahman is insane?  Uh..."Hi, pot.  This is kettle."
